Before beginning intervention, an evaluation is always suggested for therapists to gain a better understanding of your child's present levels, establish goals, determine an appropriate therapy plan, and identify strengths and weaknesses. Evaluations may also be requested or required by your child's school for a variety of purposes including developing an educational support plan, establishing a need for services, to be submitted in conjunction with a private-school application, and to establish baseline scores to measure a student's growth .
