Speech for the Stars therapists have advanced training in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach, PROMPT therapy, Social Thinking ®️, executive function therapy, oral motor therapy, CAS therapy strategies, and numerous approaches to treatment of reading and writing difficulties.
Speech for the Stars offers reading intervention and literacy support using the Orton-Gillingham program. Therapists are trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading, which is specifically designed to support students who need additional support with reading and spelling. This program is also great for emerging readers. Orton-Gillingham is one of the leading approaches to building and acquiring literacy skills and instructs students using a structured, multi-sensory, sequential and systematic approach.
We offer consultative services for children with communication disorders seeking additional support, classroom suggestions, or alternative academic placement.
