Books and Cooks (Rising Grades 1-2)
Students will enjoy the combination of reading and edible crafts in this 4-week group! Each group will include a literacy target, crafts, and a story! By the end of the summer, students will have their own literacy cookbook. Students will create a delicious snack in conjunction with their weekly story!
Community Social Skills (Rising Grades 2-3)
This group will meet at a different location each week to practice pragmatic language across different settings. Students will meet for ice cream, play at the park, go out for pizza, etc. It's like weekly field trips! By practicing pragmatic language skills across settings, students will have fun while promoting generalization! Parents will receive a schedule prior to the first day of group!
Kindergarten Readiness
Students will get ready for kindergarten through 4-weeks of themed learning experiences! Each week, students will work on skills to prepare them for their first time in an elementary classroom. Lessons will be outdoors and target goals such as early literacy skills, expressive/receptive language, basic concepts, and collaborative learning.
Virtual Creative Writing (Rising Grades 4-6)
Students will enrich their writing and vocabulary skills with this fun 6-week writing group. Each week students will be given a different theme and will target writing mechanics, structure, style, and collaborative learning through workshopping with other students.
